ISSB WAT (Words Association Test)

Word Association Test commonly known as WAT, is a personality test. In which 100 words are shown by after every 8-10 seconds on Projector screen. And Candidates have to make sentences on a blank paper provided by the staff.

(WAT) Word Association test is used to study the organization of mental life, with special reference to the cognitive connections that underlie perception and meaning, memory, language, reasoning, and motivation. –

How Test is conducted ?

• On screen 100 words are shown, one by one after 8-10 seconds.
• Candidates have to response those words by making sentences.
• You are free to make every type of sentences according to his/her mind.
• Candidates have to make sentences on blank paper provided by Staff. There will be only serial no will be written on blank paper.

How to Practice for Words Association Test(WAT) ?

• As you know that you have to response the word very quickly, so First thing you have to do is to increase writing speed and this is only possible when you do Practice for writing.
• Your response should be positive and constructive, It will only happen when you have positive mind and thinking. Because you have not enough time to think for positive sentence. But if you have positive mind then you can easily response to word by positive sentence.
• Do practice a lot before going for ISSB Test at Home. Do make sentences on words which you commonly hear around you.
• As the time is very short, So you have to make short sentences. Do practice to make short responses at Home. So, you can easily manage your time.
• It will be best if your response(Sentence), will be informative, positive and Short.
• Avoid using Idioms and Phrases.
